HFDA mentoring program
The Hungarian fashion mentoring program has been launched, within the framework of which ten talented Hungarian fashion designers are given the opportunity to acquire the business, strategic and marketing theoretical knowledge necessary for brand building and development from recognized domestic experts. The goal of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency, which launched the program, is to create as many stable, successful Hungarian brands as possible thanks to the program and to allow the best performers to move on to the international mentoring program.
The purpose of the mentoring program launched by the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency is to impart theoretical knowledge in the most important areas of brand development, which are essential for building a successful brand. The domestic experts will develop the participants within the framework of workshops and personal meetings, while at the end of the program, based on the decision of the international experts, the best performing brands can continue the joint international mentoring program of the agency and the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana.
The mentors selected based on professional criteria - Mónika Emma Chen(brand development manager and communication consultant), Dr. György Ádám (lawyer, committee member of the Budapest Bar Association), Kristza Kárpáti (freelance fashion PR specialist), Kázsmér Nikolett (investment manager, incubation area), Sára Emília Bernát (fashion & luxury strategy consultant), Réka Szentesi (fashion researcher), Péter Tátrai(deputy investment director), Alexandra Horváth (CFO, Aeron), Lilit Boninsegni(Polimoda), Tímea Martényi (sales and sustainability expert) - thanks to their experience in various fields related to fashion and branding, they can clearly see the brands' strengths and areas for improvement. In addition, our important goal is to develop the Hungarian brands commercially to such a level with appropriate mentoring that they can later enter a joint mentoring program with the CNMI and become successful on an international level, thereby further strengthening the image of Hungary's outstanding creativity" - said Bata-Jakab Zsófia, the head of the agency.
