MILAN FASHION WEEK AW2122 digital

In the framework of the joint international mentoring program of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency and the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, seven domestic brands will present their 2021/2022 fall-winter collections on February 26, at the 64th Milano Fashion Week. Designers can present their latest creations to the international fashion industry and press in the framework of a digital, live fashion show. Two additional brands will be represented on the event's online interface with the help of digital content.

In August 2018, the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency concluded a strategic agreement with the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, thanks to which the leading international fashion chamber will support the development of Hungarian fashion as a strategic partner for three years. Thanks to the cooperation, nine Hungarian brands will have an exceptional opportunity this year, as they will be able to present themselves at the 64th Milano Fashion Week, between February 23 and March 1.

Due to the restrictions in force in some areas of Italy, as well as the safety of those working at the fashion week, the organizers of MFW decided to implement it online this year, so in the official Milan Fashion Week program you will participate in a digital collective fashion show - ABODI, Cukovy, Elysian, Kata Szegedi, MERO, THEFOUR, ZIA Budapest. The other two brands of the international mentor program, ALMA and NINI, will also be added to the online platform of Milan Fashion Week, where both those interested in fashion and the international audience can see their collections.

ABODI, Cukovy and Elysian, who are already regulars at MFW and have previously been awarded the Buyers Award, will take to the catwalk as after-care brands of the international mentoring program, alongside them, for the second time, those interested can meet the works of Kata Szegedi, MERO and TheFour, and for the first time, ZIA with its special pieces. The digital content of ALMA and NINI was also included on the online interface of the Italian fashion week, so this season nine domestic brands under the umbrella brand Budapest Select will continue the reputation of the Hungarian fashion industry at one of the most famous international fashion events.

The digital content of Milano Fashion Week - including the presentations of Hungarian designers - can be followed live at https://milanofashionweek.cameramoda.it/, starting on February 26, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.
